Lord McKenzie (CLG) was the opening speaker at our autumn conference on sustainability.
The half day conference sought to determine both the state of the art and possible future trajectories on the issues surrounding greening non-domestic building stock, and also examined the barriers to change and how they can be overcome.
Through the use of Q&A and breakout sessions, the event will distill the views of attendees into a ‘Sustainable Operation and Occupation Manifesto’ for existing buildings, which will provide practical steps toward more sustainable practices.
Our expert line up of speakers will include:
• Lord McKenzie, Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG)
• Martin Moore, Managing Director of PRUPIM and chair of the BPF Sustainability Committee
• Helen Garthwaite, Head of Construction and Engineering, Taylor Wessing
• Jon Lovell, Head of Sustainability, Drivers Jonas
• Matt Tippett, Director of Upstream Services, JLL
• Charlotte Eddington, Group Head – Energy and Sustainability, CB Richard Ellis
• Tatiana Bosteels, Head of Responsible Property Investment, Hermes
• Gavin Ingham Brooke, Managing Director, Spada
• Liz Peace, Chief Executive, British Property Federation.
