SPF Annual Conference 2010

EVENT:

SPF announces its Third Annual Conference on 2nd March 2010.  The event returns to Our Dynamic Earth, Holyrood, Edinburgh.

SPF are delighted to confirm the First Minister of Scotland, Rt. Hon Alex Salmond MSP MP, is set to address delegates at the Conference.

The theme of the 2010 conference is ‘Respite or Recovery: Politics and the Scottish Property Industry in 2010’.

Full programme details and booking form is available for download.  Bookings can also be made online at the SPF website.

Key industry and business speakers will debate whether recent signs of increased economic activity in the commercial property markets offer some hope for sustained economic recovery or whether this is merely a pause before a renewed economic downturn for the industry.

In addition the conference retains its popular MSP Question Time to press elected leaders on their role in providing the right regulatory environment for the property industry to flourish.  With the UK General Election taking place this year the 2010 SPF conference will also examine the UK and Scottish political scene and ask what politicians can do for the Scottish economy and by extension, for the Scottish property industry.

We have a number of major figures from the UK and Scottish property markets already confirmed as speakers for the day.  The event will be hosted by our current chairman Phil Miller, Miller Developments and facilitating proceedings will be our immediate past Chairman Ken Ross OBE.
