This conference will look at the implications of the changes for the future planning and delivery of housing.
The new Government is going to have significant implications for the future of housing delivery. The Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats have pledged to remove the regional level of planning, removing house-building targets and replacing these with incentives through the Council Tax Matching Fund.
There will be an emphasis on bringing empty homes back into use and on making it easier for social tenants to own or part-own their home. Other changes include a presumption in favour of sustainable development, introducing third party rights of appeal and looking to abolish the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
BPF Members can attend the conference for just £99 + VAT (saving up to £200).
