We are delighted to invite you to join chief executives and senior figures in real estate to discuss the future of our industry and how to plan for it, at our flagship Annual Conference 2017.

Described as a "must-go" by Patrizia Chief Executive Wolfgang Egger, our annual conference attracts decision-makers across the breadth of the UK real estate industry. This year's conference, 'Through the Looking Glass', will offer practical ideas from senior figures and renowned futurologists on how to plan your business in order to respond to future trends.

Our first keynote speaker has been confirmed as William Higham, Founder of the Next Big Thing, and a global authority on how to monetise emerging consumer behaviours.

Emma Birchall, Head of Insight and Forecasting for the Hot Spots Movement, will be one of our speakers on a panel about how customers' demands will change and impact property. And we have also confirmed three speakers for our second panel session, which will explore the industry's perspective of how real estate businesses can and should adapt to future trends:

  • Roger Madelin CBE, Head of Canada Water Development for British Land
  • Ray O'Rourke, Chairman and Chief Executive, Laing O’Rourke
  • Guy Grainger, EMEA Chief Executive, JLL

Topics for discussion will include:

  • What will customers demand of real estate in the future?
  • How will changing consumer demands affect requirements for investing in and developing all forms of real estate?
  • What are real estate businesses doing to adapt to to these future trends?
  • How could changes to UK policy help the industry respond to these changes?
