BPF Futures

BPF Futures Launch Party

BPF Futures is a new networking and development group for junior professionals working in all areas of UK real estate. Building on the continued success and growth of the BPF Tomorrow’s Leaders Awards, this network represents a major step in our commitment to recognising the contribution of real estate’s future leaders, and supporting your professional development with the full breadth of our expertise and resources.

What does BPF Futures offer?

BPF Futures is a network for people with 10 years' experience or less working in the real estate industry. It is designed to provide its participants with professional development and networking opportunities that they won't receive elsewhere, drawing on the breadth of the BPF's reach across all corners of the real estate industry, as well as our unparalleled expertise on government decisions, thinking, and policies that affect our sector.

Events and opportunities in 2018 will include:

  • Site visits to give you exclusive access and insight into major UK developments
  • Interactive workshops to learn about the real estate market and how government policies affect it, and discuss with peers and experts
  • Networking events designed to actively help you make new connections with your peers
  • Regular podcasts and interviews with a range of industry experts
  • The opportunity to shape programme activity via working groups, to ensure BPF Futures works for your needs and aspirations
  • Updates on the major government policies and direction of travel that will affect your work both immediately and in the long-term

What does it cost?

If you are employed by a company that is a member of the BPF, you can become a member of BPF Futures by registering online and receive all benefits free of charge. A list of many BPF members can be found here, but this is not comprehensive. If you are not sure if you belong to a BPF member company, get in touch with Sam Lamont (slamont@bpf.org.uk) to find out.

For those not employed by BPF member companies, you can also register online, the cost of annual membership is as follows:

  • One year of membership for one person – £75 (£50 introductory rate for the first year)
  • One year of membership for a maximum of 15 employees at one company - £350
  • One year of membership for 16 or more employees at one company - £800

Annual membership buys you free attendance at all BPF Futures events that would usually cost £30 to attend, including site visits, seminars and workshops, and networking receptions, and you will also receive our monthly newsletter containing updates on policy developments in real estate, interviews with senior industry executives, and informative podcasts.

Students cannot become members but are welcome to attend all BPF Futures events at the discounted price of £10.

Places at events will be subject to availability, but BPF Futures members will receive priority access.

How can I join?
