What we do
Corporation tax/capital gains tax
Corporation tax and CGT are core business taxes for our members and are therefore a major issue for us.
Corporation tax has undergone a number of reforms in recent years and we have been prominent in influencing government thinking on, for example, the treatment of leased plant and machinery attached to property.
Capital allowances, currently being considered for reform by the government, are another area of major interest for us and our members. The government has recently considered abolishing capital allowances in favour of depreciation.
