What we do
Other commercial lease issues
Our preferred lobbying style is to work with partners, particularly the government, whom we inform and advise on commercial property issues. We have good relations with officials in the Department for Communities and Local Government - our sector's sponsor in government - and more broadly with other departments.
Many of our members are also engaged with the government in looking at a range of commercial lease issues, including reform of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and implementation of energy certification into leasing law.
