PA to the Chief Executive

No two days in our office will ever be the same as there is always something happening! Whether it be committee meetings, the extensive BPF events programme, dealing with queries from members or hosting visitors from as far afield as China planning  - we are always kept busy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and committed PA who would like to gain knowledge and exposure of the property sector and take a high profile role supporting the CEO and Directors of the BPF in managing key relationships with the BPF’s members.

You will be responsible for providing full administrative and diary management support to the CEO and Director team as required. This could range from diary and travel management to creating presentations; assisting in planning events and away days across the business to dealing with queries from our members and stakeholders. The role is varied and fast-paced so it requires somebody with an exceptional eye for detail and incredibly organised to ensure the Directors' time is maximised and that their diaries and offices run smoothly.

Assistant Director (Housing)

Housing policy is one of the most dynamic areas of policymaking with far-reaching consequences, and we are seeking an Assistant Director to shape and direct our housing output. Over the past few years the BPF has successfully campaigned to introduce and support the Build to Rent sector and a part of this job will be to work on that agenda. More generally, our members are involved in a diverse range of housing activities, from developing major mixed use schemes, to managing complex estates, and promoting the interests of major investors in the private rented sector.

You will be an integral part of our policy team, and comfortable meeting the most senior industry figures, and  valued stakeholders, including civil servants from an array of different parts of Government. You will have an inquisitive mind, and be able to think strategically about how to protect and promote our sector through the various tools of campaigning, including working with research and communication colleagues, speaking at events and to the media, and engaging with parliamentarians. You will be conscious not only of how our sector supports wealth creation, but adds social value, and be passionate about our Redefining Real Estate campaign. You will also manage our policy internship programme.

We are looking for somebody exceptional who is able to produce and deliver campaign plans and provide excellent support to our two Directors of Policy.
