Expressions of interest are invited to become a Board member of the BPF.
The Board is the body overseeing the work of the BPF on behalf of members and in addition to the BPF Presidential team, Chief Executive and Hon Treasurer, contains six members elected by the membership at the AGM each year in July, normally for terms of three years. The Board meets four times a year and Board members may also be asked to undertake occasional representational duties for the BPF.
In line with the BPF’s Statement of Principles for a more diverse real estate industry, and its commitment to creating greater diversity of thought within its work, the BPF is now seeking to refresh the membership of the Board and to identify individuals who have the right skills and experience to contribute effectively to the Board’s work. Such individuals will form a pool of candidates from which future BPF Board appointments may be made.
Board members may be drawn from any part of the membership but collectively will provide a broad representation of the BPF’s membership and bring a range of different perspectives and experience to bear to the work of the Board. They will be fully committed to the work of the BPF and have a track record of contributing to the broader industry and the issues facing it.
